My mornings at Hotel Blake were a true delight, thanks to the exceptional breakfast served at Meli Cafe. It's safe to say that it was one of the best breakfast experiences I've ever had, and it set a positive tone for the rest of my days in the city. Upon entering my room, I was pleasantly surprised by the spaciousness and the comprehensive array of amenities provided. I can not say enough good things about Hotel Blake. We stayed for 3 nights. Upon arrival we were concerned about parking. The closest parking garage we could find was going to cost $70 a night. One of the employees that goes by the name of Showtime was beyond helpful in getting us a much better deal. He showed me an app to download that allowed us to get 3 days of parking under $65 that was the same distance as the other parking area if not closer. All of the employees at Hotel Blake were kind and helpful but Showtime was exceptional. He was quick to give food and entertainment recommendations and was always sure to greet us and make sure we were having a great time. Our room was clean and comfortable. The hotel is in a great location and was also the cheapest option in the surrounding area. It was close to everything that we needed and events we had planned during our stay. I have never written a review before but this one was well deserved. Thank you to all the staff that helped make our trip special.

We were only in Chicago for 1 night and booked this property at random while on the Amtrak from Urbana. I’m so glad we decided to stay here! The property is centrally located, within walking distance of restaurants bars and main tourist attractions ( the bean is a 15-20 min walk). We got an amazing room, very spacious, comfy bed and the best part was the lamps ! They have some really unique lamps in their rooms …very artsy. In the evening we wanted to visit Buddy Guys Legends bar, a must-go if you are in the area. We ended up catching Buddy Guy on stage that night 🙌 the man, the legend himself ! The bellman ‘Showtime’ is part of the Hotel Blake experience!! He’s so friendly, knows all the bars in the area and gives the best recommendations. We got a free round of drinks at Buddy Guy legend because of him 😊 All in all definitely a great stay, will be coming back for sure !

With plenty of restaurants and coffee shops within walking distance, finding dining options was very easy. The rooms were clean and well-maintained, offering a very comfortable bed for a restful stay. The friendly and helpful staff added to the positive experience and were always ready to assist when needed. My flight was at night, and it was very convenient that I could leave my suitcases at the hotel for free after checking out in the morning. The complimentary internet worked smoothly, allowing me to hold a videoconference with three participants without any issues. Mornings started on a good note with free coffee available in the lobby, a thoughtful touch.

Really large spacious rooms which was handy for us as had 4 cases. Plenty room in cupboard to hang clothes. Also had microwave, safe and fridge/freezer. We didn’t cook but did use safe and fridge for water. The cafe downstairs was great and we ate there every morning. There was also a nice pizzeria right opposite and we sat in once and did takeaway another night. Room was pretty quiet as was hotel, no rowdy rooms etc so was nice and chilled which suited us.
